The view of Sormiou Bay through Marseille was painted at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century by the listed French marine painter and landscaper Charles Lefevre (1875 Paris - 1946). Coastal scenes from the south of France and Brittany, landscapes with domestic animals.

Inscription: signed lower right, on the back of the original frame: title "Sormiou" and name of the owner of the previous painting.
