Beautiful and original composition painted by Julien Thibaudeau, painter born in 1859 in Breloux-la-Crèche (Deux-Sèvres). 19th-20th century. Referenced as a painter of genre scenes, portraits, interiors. He was a student of Gérôme and Combe-Velluet. From 1886, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, of which he became a member in 1889, obtaining an honorable mention in 1888, a bronze medal in 1900, for the Universal Exhibition and a bronze medal in 1929. The Gray and Louviers museums preserve his works. The canvas is in very good condition and measures 46 cm x 38 cm. This is a standard 8 Figure format.
