"André Sornay Oak Chest Of Drawers"
Studded oak chest of drawers with five drawers by the cabinetmaker, fitter and decorator André Sornay (1902-2000) who was one of the leading artists of Art Deco, designer and avant-garde creator. A student of Fine Arts, he took over the furniture factory after the death of his father and revolutionized design, technique and above all established himself as a very inventive creator. His furniture is geometric and very refined, functional and he invented nailing, an alignment of small nails (see photos) which became his trademark. DIMENSIONS: 1.03m x 0.47m and 1.20m high.
