Cube Rare lucite cube with internal matte black sphere. Edition Danese Milan 1959. The “Danese” logo appears transparent on one of the sides. In the series of cubes with spherical or cubic inserts in various materials and colors. Are in principle paperweights, but are today appreciated as small “Optical Art” sculptures. These cubes recall the geometric compositions of Kazimir Malevich's “historical abstraction” Good condition. Some marks of use. A tiny chip (see photo).

Included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York MOMA.
