The dial is in good condition.
The glass has a few scratches and we note that a needle is missing.
The enamelled back of the watch is decorated with rose-cut diamonds representing a bird and leaf decoration.
There are scratches in the enamel, but no gaps.
There is an additional flap between the back of the watch and the mechanism where “Virginie Cordier à St Omer” and “Eight ruby holes” are written.
In watches, rubies ensure proper functioning and reliability over time.
The mechanism works and turns, but we recommend having it serviced, we do not have its key.
