Armchair in natural wood molded and carved with flowers and foliage, resting on four arched legs, stamped JB Boulard (received Master in 1755), L.XV period. Received Master in April 1755, Jean-Baptiste Boulard worked from 1777 in the service of the Meuble de la Couronne to create seats mainly in the L.XVI style. But before this period, he produced high quality Louis Today we find certain pieces of his production at the Château de Versailles, Fontainebleau, Chantilly, the Louvre in Paris, the MET in New York, the Wallace Collection in London and the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.
