Louis XVI period cylinder desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer.
The interior presents, under 3 lockers, a set of 6 drawers, including the low line simulating 3 false drawers in front of the cylinder mechanism.
Above the cylinder, an additional line of 3 drawers.
The office is surrounded by Turquin Blue marble surrounded by a gilded bronze gallery.
The top drawers are fitted with cloverleaf locks, as is the cylinder.
Under the cylinder, a central drawer, 2 drawers on the left and a front of 2 drawers on the right.
Round fluted feet with gilded bronze ring and shoe. Old leather. Very good general condition; we underline the care taken in the decoration of the different compartments enhanced with fine brass rods framed in black wood.
The pull handles are particularly decorative.
