Maurice Frydman is a Franco-Belgian artist, born in Paris in 1928 and died in Anderlecht in 2023. He was a designer, painter, sculptor and graphic designer. He studied at the Grande Chaumière in Paris (1947-1952). In 1955, he moved to Brussels. He found his inspiration in the shapes of the human body, generally synthesized in a monumental way. He paints nudes, couples, lovemaking and maternity wards. He generally limited his color palette to dark earth tones. He has worked as a sculptor on bronze and polyester, among others.
