Second in a series of 3 miniatures on sale in our gallery, this gouache represents the portrait of a young woman under the Directory She is dressed in a white and blue dress, with the waist marked under the chest, a veil in her hair flying in the wind and wears a coral necklace. The young lady's hair is reddish brown and her eyes are blue. This is a very high quality painting by a student or follower of Isabey. A JV signature of JB Isabey on the left. Frame in chiseled and gilded bronze. Napoleon III period around 1850. Delivery 14 euros in France, 25 euros in the EU and 60 euros rest of the world.
