Enamelled stoneware bowl in the color of oxblood speckled with purple. Signed “K”, Sèvres and numbered “80”. Very good state. Dimensions: D: 11.5 cm H: 5 cm Son and grandson of potters, he perfectly mastered all ceramic techniques, which earned him the respect and interest of ceramists such as Dalpayrat, Soubdinine, Decoeur with with whom he collaborated in 1939, or Gensoli who created his sets for him. 1936: Title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, he joined the Manufacture de Sèvres as a designer and left in 1947. His work is very influenced by Far Eastern aesthetic traditions, his cutlery is particularly refined.
