"Striped Imberline Louis XVI Period - France Circa 1780"
Circa 1780 France Two panels in straw yellow/cream imberline with large cherry red stripes dating from the Louis XVI period. Very tight weave satin background with silk warp and linen or cotton weft. Large panels sewn in two 53 cm wide strips complete with their edges. No defects or stains apart from a few needle holes only in the ends. Flexible and durable enough to use in historical decoration. Good condition. Dimensions: Two panels including 254 cm x 79 cm and a triangle measuring 180 cm x 64 cm.
