"Longwy Art Deco Ceramic Vase Circa 1930"
Large earthenware vase manufactured by the Longwy factory during the Art Deco period around 1920/1930. The decoration consists of four vertical bands of stylized flowers and foliage alternating with four vertical bands of cracked cream-white enamel. The crackle, enhanced with pink, and the polychrome enamels, enhanced with gold, are of a beautiful quality of execution. Octagonal shape with small hemmed collar. Longwy stamp and decoration number D. 5061 in underglaze ink. Height: 29.5 cm. In a perfect state.
