Rare pair of small Italian chests of drawers from the 18th Century with curved fronts in the shape of crossbows. This pair of chests of drawers inlaid on three sides are a Lombard work from the beginning of the 18th Century, one of which opens on the front with three drawers and the other opens on the front with a door revealing two interior shelves. Special features: these two pieces of furniture are inlaid in burl walnut veneer in olive tree frames with a delightful decoration of birds and flowers and ivory scrollwork. Fully inlaid tray with bird decorations. Original patinated bronze pull handles. Usage and maintenance restorations.
