Double patina of light beige for the skin and reddish brown for the tunic and fruits.
Only 8 copies were made, and this one bears the number 7.
The first No.1 was acquired by the famous collector and patron Hélène David-Weill, who was President of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and President of the Friends of the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris. No.4 was exhibited and sold at the Salon des Décorateurs in 1926, No.8 was exhibited and sold at the Brandt gallery in June 1933, and No.5 was auctioned on 8.06.1994 at Drouot Montaigne Paris.

Gilbert PRIVAT (1892-1969)
French sculptor and painter, a great admirer of Rodin and Bourdelle, Gilbert Privat expressed his talent in the aesthetic research of the female body animated by purity, gentleness and sensitivity.
He is honoured at the Musée des années 30 in Boulogne Billancourt, which is exhibiting around a hundred works donated by his wife, who was also his most faithful muse.
