Dental key, called Garengeot, used for tooth extraction. This model is equipped with a rotating head allowing the hook to be positioned in four different notches. The assembly is activated and locked using a key or ratchet system. Very beautiful model in forged steel and ebony handle, hiding its screwdriver, by Charrière. The instrument can be dated around 1840-1850. It measures 14.5 cm in length and the handle 8.6 cm.
