"Pair Of Renaissance Style Chairs, Henri II In Solid Oak And Small Dots Fabric."
Very beautiful pair of Henri II style chairs in oak wood from the end of the 19th century. Our seats rest on four fluted legs connected together by a turned wooden spacer forming an H. The backrest is very high, it is entirely openworked and sculpted. On each side of it, at the base, a large rectangular die with decoration feather maintains a fluted column topped with a top. Four large vertical molded bars frame a carved plaque with a foliage motif. The whole is topped with a beautiful, richly carved cartouche. The seat of our chairs is in very good condition, it was recently redone and is very firm. The covering fabric is made with small stitches and represents a pretty bouquet of varied flowers
