Circa 1935-1945 France Extravagant architectural Fascinator known as Sauerkraut in brown and salmon velvet pan, of the type worn by artists such as Joséphine Baker. Pleated turban enclosing the head in a skullcap, topped with three large padded bands covered in velvet. Cream silk pongee lining. Very light traces of dirt on a fragile bead and lining. Otherwise, good general condition of colors and conservation. Dimensions: Head circumference 56 cm, total height 23 cm.
