CHATRIAN (Alexandre) - Handwritten note dated April 23, 1864, to a critic of Le Figaro, M. Bourdin, for the release of the work Maître Daniel Rock written with Émile Erckmann. Paris, Chez l’auteur, 1865; in-12, one page, crushed in two. Alexandre Chatrian writes to Mr. Bourdin to ask him to write a review for the release of Maître Daniel Rock. We know that Erckmann and Chatrian shared the work Erckmann wrote in coordination with Chatrian and lived in Phalsbourg, Chatrian lived more in Paris where he canvassed publishers and critics. This little post is further proof.
