Object description :

"Beautiful Earthenware Bottle From Nevers, 17th Century, Good Condition"
Elegant bottle vase, with thick, slightly bluish glaze, decorated from blue and faded manganese, of a solitary Asian musician, in extremely poetic rotating landscape. Fine decoration, trembling lines, composition of this asymmetrical rotating decoration is quite surprising to see, one has the impression of looking over the shoulder of the improvising painter.
23.5cm x 9cm.
Good condition, without flaws, with the exception of wear on the collar, visible in our photos.
Nevers, late 17th century, the pink color of manganese is typical of this period.
