"Pair Of Padded Shepherdesses “in Confessional”"
Rare Pair of "confessional" shepherdesses in carved wood in Louis XVI style, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. These shepherdesses are richly decorated and sculpted. They rest on two tapered legs of round section, with a floral drop at the front, and on two saber-shaped legs at the back, also sculpted with floral decoration. The brown, padded velvet tapestry is in a good state of conservation. This pair of armchairs is in good condition, as is its tapestry. Note some minor wear and tear over time.
