19cm high wind up robot . Designed by Volker Strauss The robot is Germany's only tin metal robot from 1955. The Strenco robot was the third toy robot ever produced, after the Lilliput and the Atomic Robot Man. It was copied by Japanese companies shortly after its release. There were even battery powered versions (Zoomer the Robot, Radar Robot - both from Nomura/Japan). Here we have the minimalist aesthetic of the Bauhaus from the 50s in its original boxthe box suffered a little on the top side one piece is missing
