This charming sculpture was made in terracotta with a waxed patina and bears the signature of Joseph Le Guluche hollowed out on the side of the wall. Joseph Le Guluche was born on September 20, 1849 in Plourivo in the Côtes d'Armor in Brittany and died on January 24, 1915 in Villejuif in the Paris region. He mainly produced popular terracotta subjects. he was employed between 1879 and 1911 at the L'Isle-Adam factories. He will be one of the most remarkable sculptors and one of the most productive.
