Rare and beautiful tall unit with 6 drawers on red breccia marble from Langudoc in rosewood marquetry with lemon tree fillet frames, bronze entrances and Louis XV locks. The very elegant piece of furniture has a curved front, the tall drawer, smaller in height, has an ogee front and finishes the top of the piece of furniture in a harmonious line. The other five easy-to-use drawers are functional and deep, the interior is lined with a beautiful soft bright red fabric, the well-arched legs are lined at the front with chiseled bronze shoes and on the top and bottom sides lined with scraps all in the original style, the animated crosspiece garnished with a pretty ornamental pattern in its center. The beautiful Bec de Corbin marble, with rounded sides, wonderfully highlights the marquetry and its frames in a thick sawn veneer (and buffer varnished) with golden reflections.
