The object was offered in 1861 and is more particularly dedicated to Mr. Amédée Dailly for having saved a young man from drowning.
Several inscriptions including “Courage and humanity”. Decor in the typically Hispano-Moorish style made by Charpentier and Goddé on Sèvres white dated 1859.
