- Terracotta representing a woman, in a semi-recumbent and leaning position, looking towards the child with closed eyes, who is sleeping peacefully near her chest. The gentleness emanating from this sculpture leads us to suppose that it is an allegory of the maternal figure tenderly watching over her child.- This sculpture offers very delicate work, particularly on the facial features and drapery.
- The terracotta is fixed on an entirely marble base (black marble and green Alpine marble), weight: ~50 kg.
