"Art Nouveau Counter Chest Of Drawers (circa 1900-1920)"
Rare "counter chest of drawers" also called "middle chest of drawers" from the Art Nouveau period (around 1900-1920) in speckled maple and blond mahogany (framiré). This small piece of furniture, in light tones, is absolutely sublime! Chests of drawers are some of the rarest pieces of furniture from the Art Nouveau period (we've never encountered one before). French work made in 2 rare species (speckled maple for the side panels, rear panels, and drawer panels) and framiré (a rare variety of light mahogany, exotic wood). The handles are in bronze, in the pure Art Nouveau style. The drawers are assembled in a dovetail and mounted on original roller slides: high quality work and very innovative for the time! We emphasize the rarity of this piece of furniture, truly unusual in Art Nouveau production. Up for grabs! Dimensions: Height: 75 cm Top: 100 x 55 cm
