A pair of 18th century rocaille cabriolet armchairs circa 1760 with wavy and profiled structural elements, backs, seats and handrails lightly padded with material, supported by four sculpted cabriole legs. The backs are slightly concave, arched with carved flowers in the middle, flared upwards and concave on the sides. The seats are rounded at the back and wavy at the front, decorated with flowers, similar to those on the top of the armchair. Legs flared at the top, ending in a foot at the bottom. Pinned construction. Condition: very good, original - visible traces of use, secondary coating, slight abrasions on the armrests Original; France 18th circa 1760 Material: walnut?
