"Small Mahogany Music Stand, Louis Philippe Period – Mid-19th Century"
Middle music stand in solid and veneered mahogany dating from the mid-19th century. It has an inclined flap in burl mahogany veneer, molded in bec-de-corbin and groove, with stopper rod allowing you to place a book or document there. This flap is mounted on two brass hinges and locks using a functional original hook lock with key and wooden entry. Once raised, it provides access to storage space. This desk is topped with two tops. The whole rests on turned legs in solid mahogany called coil. This base is connected by a rear and two side spacers leaving space for sitting.
