This is possibly the portrait of Pierre Hautin or Pierre Haultin, (Protestant, Calvinist), French engraver, printer and founder of the 16th century born in Villaines sous Malicorne around 1500 and died in Paris or La Rochelle around 1587.
Brother-in-law of founder Jean Le Sueur, with whom he was associated between October 1550 and August 1555.
This 19th century bust is signed Victor Vilain, it bears the stamp of founder of the Collas establishments.
It is in good condition, nice patina, no shock, no or little wear.
