Portrait of a noblewoman with veil and folded hands,
finely painted oil on canvas
attributed to François-Joseph KINSON (1771-1839)
The author was a renowned Flemish painter and portraitist.
Trained at the art school in Bruges, in 1794 he moved to Paris where
he soon worked at Napoleon's court, becoming court painter
 of Jérôme Bonaparte, younger brother of Napoleon I Bonaparte.

Contemporary frame.
