"Armoire "ferd. Pogliani Milano", 19th Century"
Important two-part cabinet in entirely blackened tropical wood, inlaid with ivory. Decorated with various stones and semi-precious stones. It stands on 2 "S"-shaped legs mounted on a rectangular base, supporting a framed box with a drawer repeatedly stamped "FERD. POGLIANI EBENISTA MILANO". Above, there is a cabinet top with two doors, flanked by columns carved in the round. The cabinet also includes two additional small drawers, also stamped "FERD. POGLIANI EBENISTA MILANO". A final openwork brass gallery completes the set. The fittings are in gilded brass, showing slight signs of age. Locks and keys are original.
