Oil on canvas signed lower left by Victor Vincelet. He was a student of Didier-Alphonse L’Huilier and Antoine Vollon, he excelled in still lifes depicting flowers or fruits. Some of his paintings can be found in French and foreign museums.This superb bouquet in bright colors contrasts with the dark background chosen by the painter. This pretty canvas measures 9,64 inches x 12,79 inches and is presented in a lacquered wooden frame which measures 15,55 inches x 18,50 inches.
