"Dish In Marseille, Veuve Perrin, 18th Century."
This large and beautiful oblong-shaped hollow dish is made of Marseille earthenware, manufactured by the Veuve Perrin, the central polychrome decoration represents a fountain animated by several characters, on a landscaped background. The wing with a lobed edge is decorated with combs and shells, it is painted with fillets and flowers. The colors, typical of the Marseille production of the widow Perrin, are yellow, purple, manganese and a soft green. There is no mark on the reverse.

Period: circa 1770.
In good general condition, this dish nevertheless has a crack in the upper part.
