ALFRED LAMBERT VAUDOYER FRENCH ARCHITECT National School of Fine Arts 1846-1917 Student at the School of Fine Arts and in the studio of Léon Vaudoyer from 1867 to 1872. In 1869, he obtained a second honorable mention in the Achille Leclère competition for a proposed monument to Rossini. In 1873, he presented at the salon a project for a monument commemorating the defense of Paris and a project for the reconstruction of the Protestant temple in Strasbourg. In 1876, he obtained a second mention in the competition opened by the city of Marseille to erect a memorial monument in memory of Henry Espérandieu. From 1873 to 1877, he was a sub-inspector at the agency responsible for the reconstruction of the Marsan pavilion and the rue de Rivoli gallery. In 1877, he was first class sub-inspector for the works of the Town Hall. In 1879, he obtained a second medal at the Salon des Champs-Élysées and a second class medal at the salon for a project to restore the church of Jouy.
