Signed Victor Dupré lower left. Léon Victor Dupré was a French painter born in Limoges and died in Paris. He was a student of his brother Jules Dupré and began at the Salon in 1839 and exhibited until 1878. He painted landscapes of Normandy, Berry and Limousin. He had his workshop on rue de Rochechouart in Paris.
