Large carved and stained wooden statue depicting Saint John the Baptist. French work from the Louis XIV period, late 17th or early 18th century.

Weight : 25.5 kg

Condition report : Good general condition, old scattered traces of insect. The toe of the right foot is damaged (small gaps and consolidation). The entire raised right arm was redone later and possibly slightly reinterpreted in the gesture.
