Cigarette case engraved on the inside with the following words: "A friendly remembrance to Mr. W. C. Skinner from Princess Lwoff-Paralaghy", a gift from Princess Elisabeth Vilma Lwoff-Parlaghy (1863-1923), a portrait painter who travelled in the United States from 1896 to W. C. Skinner (1866-1906).
It is silver and vermeil with engraved acanthus leaves and crown, double hinges and press button, hallmarked, marked "Sterling" three times and numbered 2909.
