"Pair Of Rooster In Polychrome Terracotta XVIIIth"
Rare pair of polychrome terracotta roosters. Work at the end of the 18th century. Some differences between the two roosters. Usual restoration They come from the outbuildings of the Chateau de Versailles (probably from the Hameau from the time of Marie Antoinette's sheepfold) at the Petit Trianon. The roosters would be of the Swiss Andalusian breed. Weight 22 kilos per rooster Dimensions: Height 77 cm, Length 54 cm Depth 33 cm and the second Height: 73 cm Length 56 cm depth 35 cm
