"Lille, Candlestick, Flambeau, Silver, 1757"
Silver candlestick, octagonal model with sides, by the master goldsmith Barthélémy-François De Courchelle, Lille 1757-1758. Barthélémy-François De Courchelle was received as a master goldsmith in Lille on June 27, 1727. He was a guard from 1751 to 1758. The candlestick is well hallmarked, no hallmark visible on the bobèche which is from the period. Weight 410g. Condition, very good, traces of use.
