"Art Deco 1925 Large Trumeau Mirror"
Large overmantel mirror from the Art Deco period circa 1925 in gilded wood decorated with an oblong pediment featuring a rich scalloped floral decoration offering a perfect synthesis of Art Deco supported by fluted uprights decorated with geometric spandrels. Note its elegant original glass generously beveled to the model offering additional refinement and sophistication to the woodwork. Good general condition, note some usual alterations to the complexion faded on ice. Quality work to be compared to Paul Follot or Maurice Dufrêne. Dimensions: 1.35 m high x 81 cm wide.
