Sumptuous large serving platter in solid silver from PUIFORCAT bordered with fillets decorated with foliage scrolls and shell accents. Marli monogrammed (see photos). Finely crafted from the highest quamity silver, it is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard hallmarks (.950) on the edge and on the back, and mark of celebrated Master Silversmith Emile PUIFORCAT (hallmark with the initials "EP" and a penknife) active in 1857. This magnificent serving platter by PUIFORCAT is in excellent condition, revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, and ready to grace the finest of tables...Note : Alarge oval serving platter / tray of the same model, same monogram ,is on sale simultaneously in our other listings.
