"Oil On Canvas "creuse Valley" Signed Fernand Combes"
Oil on canvas representing a landscape of the banks of the Creuse signed F. Combes. Born in 1856 in Les Herbiers (Vendée), he trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. He was the guest of the King of Spain, and painted and drew on the front during the Great War. He worked in Paris where he exhibited in various Salons from 1888.
