Dimensions: H: 22 cm D: 18.5 cm "The Denbac factory opened in 1909 by René Denert (1872-1937) specializes in flamed stoneware with metallic reflections. Stoneware is a natural clay that cooks at high temperature (1250 /1350°C) thus making it possible to obtain vitrified, waterproof and solid objects. Research is being carried out to mix different more or less meltable enamels in order to obtain the colors, drips and crystallizations which today make it so easy to recognize a “Denbac”. The choice of Art Nouveau shapes in 1909 gives a stamp of modernity to the production. The Denbac factory has gone through three major phases, the third period of which, from the 1920s to the closure of the factory in 1952, was characterized by the appearance of the brand "DENBAC", born from the contraction of the names of the two partners. Today, the brand "DENBAC" is known throughout France and even beyond by ceramic enthusiasts and serves to designate the important production of this Vierzon factory. The Vierzon museum has a large collection from this factory."
