"Moustier Earthenware Baluster Covered Pot"
Spectacular covered pot in the shape of a baluster, in Moustier earthenware, made in the middle of the 19th century in the spirit of Regency period creations. The mythological decorations recall the creations of the Olerys factory, the piece also bears a signature which does not seem to us to be consistent with this prestigious workshop. Despite everything, the room is old, large, and elegant. We should note a chip under the foot which cannot be seen placed. We must remember that Provence was for a long time resistant to new developments, preferring to continue the decorations of the early 18th century, which was a golden age for its artistic creations.
