Large and interesting Marine to compare to the work of Jean-Baptiste de la Rose late 17th century early 18th century, this painting was restored by a professional who was able to give it its original shine. Very pioneering, Jean-Baptiste de la Rose painted numerous sunsets later taken up by Lacroix de Marseille. This extremely decorative painting is framed by a 19th century baguette.
