Very fine naughty engraving in black and bistre (for the faces and hands) Numbered in pen 311. A bride accompanied by her old husband makes a sign to her young lover. Published in 1833 by Jean-Pierre Belleville, a publisher of fans, box tops and other illustrated stationery, active in Paris at the beginning of the 19th century. No doubt for a naughty work project.
