Console painted in patinated ivory color, richly carved with four tapered legs with rough grooves, spacer for fire pot vase. The openwork belt decorated with laurel leaves and a garland of roses. It is topped with a royal red Bec de Corbin marble (rest) Dimensions of the console: length 105.5 cm x depth 51 cm, height 83.5 cm This piece of furniture is topped with a large trumeau, (mirror of origin) of the same color and matching decoration. In the upper part a painting on panel representing puttis forging a helmet. The whole is topped with a removable openwork pediment decorated with laurel branches and ribbons. Dimensions of the trumeau: total height: 206 cm (without the pediment; 181 cm) width at the bottom: 101 cm, at the top at the cornice: 107.5 cm In good house condition, original paint, work from the end of the 19th century century.
