"19th Century Coat Rack In Noici Wood"
Superb and elegant 19th century coat rack in blackened wood. It rests on 4 turned balustered and sculpted legs supporting a plinth in which zinc squares are embedded to hold umbrellas and canes. The whole is connected by a facade crosspiece all carved with rosette decoration, it is topped by a drawer opening with a socket in the shape of a lion's mouth. The upper part is heavily carved with a geometric pattern and an openwork dragon on the sides. In the center is a large oval beveled mirror and the set includes 8 hooks. The part forming the pediment has a frieze decorated with acanthus and animal mouths. High quality work in excellent state of conservation, original by its ornamentation also remaining a very beautiful decorative object.
