Antique Library - Neo-gothic Pharmacy. 428cm X 283cm

Rare and beautiful pharmacy cabinet from the neo-Gothic period of Italy, entirely in poplar wood and decorated with cream white lacquer and faux marble, with a central passage. The construction of the piece of furniture can be attested by the second half of the 19th century, the advent period (late years compared to other nations) of neo-Gothic stylistic influences in Italy.

The bookcase has 4 large compartments, each with two glass doors that end in a pointed arch shape that intertwines with other upper decorative arches; in the center of the armour, a sweep of quatrefoils in black lacquer is repeated. Another compartment is the central one, which also has two small glass doors. In addition, the bookcase has 8 doors in the lower part, decorated with imitation wood.

The total size of the bookcase is 428 cm x 283 high. The dimensions of the central passage are 187 cm x 70 wide (to which it is possible to apply a door, given the presence of the hinges).
