Lovely Souvenir Jewelry Box From Ile Rousse In Corsica 1900 In Olive Wood

Delicious souvenir of times gone by that vacationers brought back from their trip, pretty olive wood jewelry box representing a fisherman from Ile Rousse mending a fishing net. Its lid is very slightly domed, its hinges in very good condition and barely visible. Rare souvenir box from Ile Rousse in Corsica, the most widely distributed being those in memory of Cannes, Nice or even the spa towns... End of the 19th century - very beginning of the 20th century. Dimensions: 10.8 cm x 9.2 cm and 4 cm high Good condition. Beautiful patina of time. Beautiful and soft shine of nicely grained wood. Over time the wood has worked, causing a small superficial crack (see photo). Many other objects to discover in my stand at the Trade Shows in which I participate.
